Established in İzmir in 1969, Güven Law Office provides legal advisory and litigation services to individual and corporate clients. Drawing on more than half a century of accumulated knowledge and experience, we advise on both domestic and cross-border matters.
Our team of experienced lawyers and advisers works proactively: we aim to identify and address legal risks before they materialise, and to manage them effectively when they do. We tailor our advice to each client's field of activity, sector dynamics and commercial priorities, and manage advisory and dispute resolution processes with close attention to detail. Our objective is to develop sustainable solutions — not only for the matter at hand, but also for the risks that may follow.
We act for domestic and international companies and individuals across a range of industries, particularly energy, industrial manufacturing, packaging, mining and food. Our practice covers commercial and contract law, mergers and acquisitions, domestic and cross-border investment, real estate and construction, and administrative, employment, intellectual property, tax and information technology law.

FoundersA. Selim Güven graduated from Dokuz Eylül University Faculty of Law in 1992. After completing his legal traineeship, he practised at Schellenberg Wittmer (formerly known as Schellenber & Haissly) in Geneva, Switzerland, where his work covered a range of areas, including investment banking.

Ahmet Özlen Güven graduated from Istanbul University Faculty of Law in 1965. As the founder of Güven Law Office, he advised leading business figures and companies, principally on administrative, commercial, tax and property law.

Ayşe Zeren Güven graduated from Istanbul University Faculty of Law in 1967 and was a co-founder of Güven Law Office, together with her husband, lawyer Ahmet Özlen Güven.
